Wynn Al Marjan Island is starting to look a little more like the beach escape it has promised to be. The highly anticipated resort in Ras Al Khaimah has offered a first proper glimpse at its 550-metre shoreline, including the beachfront, lagoon and offshore reef that will form a major part of the experience when it opens next year.
The waterfront reveal comes as construction continues on the resort, which is set to become Wynn Resorts’ first beachfront property and the UAE’s first integrated gaming resort. The opening is currently scheduled for September 2027, and the project has seen its estimated construction cost increase by $600 million to around $5.7 billion.
As per the latest concept images, the beach is being designed as more than a long stretch of sand. The shoreline will be divided into 3 distinct settings: Resort Beach, Adult Beach and Enclave Beach. These will give guests different ways to spend time by the water.
Resort Beach will be the liveliest of the three, with plenty of sandy space, loungers and easy access to the resort’s pools and other facilities. For something quieter, Adult Beach will offer more space between guests, landscaped cabanas and a more relaxed beach-club feel.
The most private of the three, Enclave Beach, is designed for a more secluded experience, with fewer guests, personalised service and a greater emphasis on privacy.
Beyond the beaches, the resort’s sheltered lagoon will offer plenty to do in the water, including swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding and kayaking. The concept images show plenty of greenery, rock formations, curved pathways and low-rise beach facilities, creating a series of intimate spaces rather than one enormous resort beach.
There will be 372 chaise lounges, 61 cabanas and 3 bungalows along the waterfront. One of those bungalows will come with its own plunge pool and butler service, adding an especially private option for guests who want to make the most of the beach without the crowds.
The beachfront is just one part of the wider resort, which is planned to have 1,530 rooms and suites, alongside 22 restaurants, lounges and bars, a theatre, a five-star spa, designer boutiques, event spaces, pools and a beach club.
With its mix of open sandy stretches, quieter corners and private beachside spaces, the shoreline is shaping up to be one of Wynn Al Marjan Island’s biggest draws. It’s another reason to keep an eye on what’s coming to Ras Al Khaimah in 2027.
