Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah has confirmed its opening date for its 2027 debut. The resort will open in September 2027. As the UAE’s first integrated gaming resort, the update on opening comes as a major development for one of RAK’s most anticipated projects.
Construction is progressing at a fast pace for Wynn Al Marjan Island. The total cost of construction for the development has risen by $600 million to approximately $5.7 billion.
The resort’s standout features include about 1,530 rooms, suites, and residences, and plenty of restaurants, bars, and lounges. There will also be 12 swimming pools, a theatre with a capacity for 900, an extensive centre for events and meetings, and a beach club.
Other leisure and wellness amenities include gaming facilities, a luxury spa, a marina for superyachts, a luxury retail promenade, and a 420-metre private white sand beach.
Wynn Al Marjan Island will also have a 548-metre Wynn Bridge to link the resort with the E311 and E611 highways once completed. A special community for employees is also in the works, aimed at accommodating over 7,000 staff members. It is expected to be completed before the resort’s opening.
As a whole, Wynn Al Marjan Island Resort is set to expand Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism scope. Luxury accommodation, entertainment, dining options, retail, unique events, and waterfront experiences will all be brought together in one integrated destination.
