Martini & Fries Offer

Sofitel Ras Al Khaimah Al Hamra Beach Resort is offering Martini and Fries until the end of August. Running daily from 12 pm through to 1 am, guests can enjoy a Hayman’s Gin Martini paired with fries.

Choose from the crisp Freezer Martini, the Dirty Martini, and the Vesper Martini for AED 45. Since the offer is available at the Veritas Bar.

Puppet Theatre in the Park

Puppet Theatre in the Park is a highly anticipated event coming to Al Hamra Village next week. On Saturday, 29 August, from 6 pm to 7 pm, families, especially children, can come together for an evening of storytelling, creativity, intriguing characters, and some theatre magic.

Taking place at Royal Breeze 2, Recreational Room, P2 Level, this free community event is open to everyone and is a great way for parents to spend time with kids before school reopens.

Chase One Colour Photo Contest

Al Hamra Village has another event that has technically already begun, but will conclude on Monday, 24 August. Open to all Al Hamra residents, the Chase One Colour Photo Contest requires participants to pick one colour and capture it around the community.

From yellow, purple, and blue to white, capture its shades in nature, architecture, waterfront scenes, or in ordinary, everyday moments around Al Hamra Village and Bab Al Bahr. Compile the photos into a collage that shows how the colour tells its own story in the community.

This is a fun, quick activity to participate in this weekend, and the prize is a shopping gift voucher. Submit the collage to communities.events@alhamra.ae by 24 August.

Hands-On Wind Chime Workshop

The Design Gallery and Beyond Classroom will host a special hands-on chime workshop for children on Sunday, 30 August from 4 pm to 5.30 pm. Attendees get to decorate, tinker and get creative with washi tape, ribbons, beads and colourful chimes.

The end product is for kids to take home as a special memento. It’s a great chance to get kids away from screens and engage in something that requires concentration. The workshop fee is AED 50 per child. Kids aged 7 and above can attend.

Wing It Tuesday

The Bay Sports Bar has a Tuesday offer from 5 pm to 10 pm, specially for wings. Guests can enjoy two hours of unlimited chicken wings for AED 100 and also a bucket of brew for AED 180.

The timing makes it a fun offer to try after work hours, on a casual date, or for an evening hangout with friends.

Ladies’ Night with RakMums

RakMums has an upcoming ladies’ night event which is worth booking in advance as spots are limited. The restaurant is Three Bites Later in Al Jazeera Al Hamra. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, 1 September at 7 pm.

Al Hamra Mall Run

Al Hamra Mall will celebrate the start of the school year with a free indoor family run. The Back to School Run is in collaboration with fitze UAE and will be held on Saturday, 5 September from 6 am till 9 am.
