RAK residents can now become tourism ambassadors with exclusive visitor perks. A new initiative is making it a little easier to bring friends or family over from overseas who have been meaning to visit.
The RAK Ambassador initiative, launched by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 18 August, invites citizens and residents to register as ambassadors and nominate visitors from abroad. The idea is simple: encourage people who already know the emirate to introduce it to their own international circles.
Running from Wednesday, 19 August to Saturday, 31 October 2026, the initiative is open to citizens and residents aged 18 and above. Each eligible host can nominate more than one visitor.
What Do Visitors Get?
The programme comes with a collection of offers designed to make a trip to RAK more appealing. It covers everything from hotels and restaurants to outdoor adventures.
Visitors can access discounted hotel stays, attraction tickets, restaurant and cafe deals, marine activities and safari tours, as well as special offers on luxury car rentals. There are also shopping benefits at Al Manar Mall, giving visitors another reason to add some retail therapy to their Ras Al Khaimah itinerary.
Visitors need to register through the initiative before arriving in the UAE and must enter on a tourist visa or a visa on arrival.

For residents, it offers a chance to share some of their favourite parts of the emirate with people from their personal and professional networks. That could mean a day in the mountains, a stay by the coast, a desert experience or simply exploring Ras Al Khaimah’s growing food and leisure scene.
The initiative also brings together public- and private-sector businesses across hospitality, tourism, retail, and leisure, with the wider aim of encouraging more visitors and supporting the emirate’s tourism economy.
How to Register As a RAK Ambassador
Registration is available through the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. For an emirate that has been steadily expanding its tourism offering, the initiative takes a refreshingly personal approach.
Rather than relying solely on traditional tourism campaigns, it puts the people of Ras Al Khaimah at the centre of introducing it to the world.
