Ras Al Khaimah is finally getting a new tourist destination that isn’t on Al Marjan Island. Saij Mountain Lodge is set to open on Jebel Jais before the end of 2026, bringing a new luxury retreat to the UAE’s highest peak.
Known for its breathtaking scenery and adventure attractions, Jebel Jais will soon offer visitors the chance to extend their mountain escape with an overnight stay surrounded by nature.
The mountain retreat is located 1,680 metres above sea level in Ras Al Khaimah and will feature 70 lodges surrounded by rugged mountains. Landscaped paths will connect restaurants, lounges, and accommodation. Terraces throughout the property will offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the mountain views.

The architecture of Saij Mountain Lodge is inspired by the cultural and agricultural history of Jebel Jais. The resort will have shared gathering spaces that resemble traditional Arabian majlis, while farmland areas and outdoor settings encourage guests to slow down and connect with each other.
Saij Mountain Lodge is expected to be much more than just a scenic getaway. It will be a nature retreat. Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking trails, guided sunset hikes, cooking classes, and traditional farming. Wellness is covered by experiences like sunrise meditation and wellness sessions based on traditional Arabian techniques.
An official opening date and room rates have not been revealed yet, but Saij Mountain Lodge is expected to welcome its first guests before the end of 2026. This makes it worth adding to the list of potential winter staycation spots in Ras Al Khaimah.
