Manar Mall is hosting an indoor run on Sunday, 2nd August from 7 am onwards. Interested runners can register at premieronline.com. Since registration closes by 1st August, it’s best to register as early as possible.

Participants have the chance to win prizes, with a total prize pool worth AED 15,000. It’s a great way to get in a dose of running without having to brave the outdoor temperature.

Edible Slime & Fizzy Dough Workshop

Beyond Classroom, a children’s platform, will host a hands-on workshop for kids this weekend, on Sunday, 2nd August. The workshop is scheduled from 4 pm to 5.30 pm at The Design Gallery and is ideal for kids above the age of four.

The session involves moulding edible slime that is stretchy and fun to play with. This is followed by fizzing art. New Menu in Flavours of Ras Al Khaimah

Kaheela at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert has officially joined RAK’s popular ongoing summer dining offer, Flavours of Ras Al Khaimah.

Diners can enjoy a specially curated four-course ‘Flavours of Ras Al Khaimah’ menu at Kaheela, including signature Ras Al Khaimah Honey. The menu is available daily from 6 pm to 11 pm and is priced at AED 249 per person. The offer is available from Sunday to Thursday and runs till Wednesday, 30th September.

Summer Majlis Series

Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village will host the final session of the Summer Majlis Series on Thursday, 6th August at the Al Jazeera Al Hamra Heritage Village – Visitor Centre from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

Dr Peter Magee, Director of Zayed National Museum, Abu Dhabi, will deliver a session on archaeology and the making of the UAE’s national story. The session explores how archaeology, museum interpretation, and cultural heritage research help understand the past and shape museum narratives and development.

Write It Out: Journalling Event

RakMums is organising a guided journalling evening session for women, titled ‘Write It Out’. The space focuses on letting participants explore their thoughts in a supportive, judgement-free space.

The session begins with simple writing prompts and also allows ladies to share their writing during a casual open-mic session. No writing experience is needed.

Vipassana UAE will host a 20-day Vipassana meditation course at Vipassana Centre, Ras Al Khaimah. Scheduled from Thursday, 27th August to Thursday, 17th September, the course is open to serious older students committed to this technique.
