The European Film Festival (EUFF) is soon returning to the UAE, celebrating European cinema and bringing it to film-loving audiences in Abu Dhabi and, for the first time, in Ras Al Khaimah.
The festival is organised in partnership with the Cultural Foundation in Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah Art under the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research. The 2026 edition will allow audiences in Ras Al Khaimah to experience European storytelling in cinematic formats.
The festival is scheduled from 1st to 5th June at the RAK Chamber Theatre in Ras Al Khaimah.
The EUFF 2026 Programme
This year’s EUFF programme features award-winning films, compelling narratives, and emerging voices from across Europe. The selected works highlight the cultural diversity and creativity of European cinema, allowing viewers to explore varying perspectives that go beyond their culture and customs.
The line-up includes Italian, French, Slovenian, Spanish, German, Austrian, and Ukrainian films, as well as works from Romania, Luxembourg, Malta, Lithuania, Poland, and Greece, among others.
Themes range from music, children’s lives, and employment challenges to darker, mysterious tales and more mature themes such as belonging and the duality of nature.
