UAE Weather: Rain, Humidity and Rough Seas Expected This Week

The UAE weather forecast for this week has predicted a mix of rainy weather, blowing dust, humidity and rough seas. Temperatures are forecast to ease from Friday, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Fair to partially cloudy conditions are expected throughout the country, while convective cloud formation is possible over eastern and southern areas in the afternoons, with rainfall being likely.

Strong winds have also been forecast, with some reaching up to 45 kilometres per hour (kph) tomorrow, causing excess dust in a few areas. By Thursday and Friday, north-westerly winds may cause rougher conditions in the sea near the western Arabian Gulf.

Ras Al Khaimah Weather this Week

Ras Al Khaimah’s temperature is currently 41 degrees Celsius, which falls into the extreme heat category. Temperatures are forecast to steadily decline in the emirate this week, reaching 31 degrees Celsius by Sunday, 28th June. Humid conditions are expected overnight and early in the morning in coastal areas throughout the UAE.

While many regions across the UAE can expect partially cloudy conditions, with fog and mist, rain has not yet been forecast for Ras Al Khaimah.

In general, the weather in Ras Al Khaimah is largely dry, with sunny skies throughout the year. Rainfall is rare and typically occurs during the winter months, between December and March.

Overall, this week, the average temperature in Ras Al Khaimah will hover between 34 and 37 degrees Celsius. With ample sunlight and light coastal breezes, it’s a great time to enjoy any of the emirate’s beaches or take part in some outdoor activities in the city’s parks. However, around midday, when temperatures are naturally higher, opting to stay indoors is ideal to avoid issues such as heatstroke and sunburn.
