Part of Ras Al Khaimah’s Al Mattaf road is temporarily closed due to maintenance work. Both lanes on part of the road will remain closed for a while for certain road upgrades.
The closure extends for approximately 800 metres and an alternative route can be accessed by drivers at present.
Closure on Al Mattaf Road in RAK
Ras Al Khaimah’s Public Services Department announced the temporary closure of the route of Al Mattaf road towards Julphar Bo Obaidan roundabout for development works. The expected completion date of the work is Sunday, 14th June, which poses a change for about four weeks for drivers who routinely take this road.
Drivers taking the Al Mattaf road route on a daily basis are advised to stay updated regarding the alternative routes provided currently.
It’s always best to stick to asking people for directions rather than relying solely on digital tools such as Google Maps.
