Wynn Al Marjan Island has announced a landmark partnership with Punchdrunk, the globally acclaimed immersive theatre company known for pioneering some of the most influential productions of the past two decades.
The company is best known for its masked productions, creating immersive, free-roaming worlds where audiences can move through the story at their own pace.
The partnership marks Punchdrunk’s first production in the MENA region and signals a major moment for theatre and live entertainment in the UAE and wider Middle East.
Punchdrunk’s Production for Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is one of the most anticipated new hotels and luxury resorts set to open in Ras Al Khaimah. The integrated resort is expected to debut in 2027, bringing a major new hospitality and entertainment destination to the emirate.
As part of the development, Wynn’s collaboration with Punchdrunk will introduce an original stage production created exclusively for the resort.
The production will be directed by Felix Barrett MBE, artistic director and founder of Punchdrunk, in collaboration with Craig S. Billings, CEO of Wynn Resorts.
Designed to engage audiences in new and unexpected ways, the show will blend performance styles, theatrical worlds, and audience perspectives to expand the possibilities of live entertainment.

Inspired by traditional Las Vegas revue-style shows, the production at Wynn Al Marjan Island will feature world-class song and dance, with audiences able to choose how they experience the story.
When booking, guests can select either a traditional seated performance upstairs or a roaming immersive journey downstairs and backstage.
The latter offers a glimpse into the hidden world behind the curtain, giving audiences a different perspective on the same narrative. Together, the two experiences create a layered approach to theatre and reimagine what live entertainment can feel like.
Theatre at Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island’s theatre interprets the classic theatre through a contemporary lens. The architecture is inspired by Art Deco influences, featuring rich fabrics, sculpted drapery, and grand spaces. The result is a newly imagined venue that is reminiscent of Hollywood’s golden era and the glamour of 1970s Las Vegas.

The venue has been designed to immerse guests as soon as they set foot inside. All areas, including the lobby, aisles, lifts, and even the restrooms, contribute to the experience.
