RAKTA Enhances Bus Services from Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai

Travelling between Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai is set to become easier from Monday, 24 August 2026, with the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) enhancing its intercity bus service.

The updated schedule for the Ras Al Khaimah to Dubai route will offer 19 daily trips, including six direct express services between both emirates. During peak periods, buses will run every 30 minutes, making the service a more convenient option for commuters and visitors.

The first bus from Ras Al Khaimah will leave at 5 am, while services will continue throughout the day, with the final departure from Ras Al Khaimah at 9 pm. On the return journey, the first bus leaves Dubai at 7.30 am, with the final service departing at 11.30 pm.

The timetable includes a mix of direct services and routes via Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain, giving passengers several options depending on their destination and preferred journey.

The expanded service is expected to make public transport between the two emirates more accessible, particularly for those travelling for work, leisure or day trips. With more frequent departures and later return services, the new timetable also offers greater flexibility for passengers spending a full day in Dubai.
